Abstract

Disease is a disorder of structure or function of a part, structure or system of   human body resulting due to various reasons such as genetic, developmental error, infection, nutritional deficiency or imbalance  and  unfavorable  environmental  factors.  Infection  is  invasion and multiplication of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that are not normally present within the body.   Infections may cause no symptoms and sometimes subclinical or may give clinical symptoms. Antimicrobials are the drugs used to kill the pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi and other parasites. Transmission of infectious disease is done through various routes such as vector, carrier and reservoirs. Antibiotic resistance is the main cause for the development of drug resistance forms of microorganisms these days. This review article focuses on different deadly infectious disease that is causing serious effects to human mankind.
